Back to second careers in teaching for technology professionals
If you are have a undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, science, engineering, or another technical field, upon request, Minnesota State Universities will arrange:
- A preliminary assessment of how well your prior education meets the state standards for math, chemistry, physics, earth/space science, and life science teaching licenses. Minnesota licenses teachers on the basis of standards for knowledge, skills and competencies rather than completion of specific courses or a college major.
- Introductions to nearby math and science teachers who are in their second careers.
